Toffees winger may be on his way as Turkish giants look to sign 29-year-old
Yannick Bolasie may be on his way out of Everton after reports linked him with a transfer to Fenerbahce.
The winger has been touted as another casualty in Marco Silva and Marcel Brands’ squad overhaul at Goodison Park.
And Turkish news outlet Spor has now claimed that the Super Lig giants have contacted the Blues over a potential deal.
Bolasie has struggled to recapture his best form since he returned from a year-long lay off with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
He netted just once in 18 appearances for Everton last term, and has only managed two goals and four assists in 32 games overall.
Another star who would be on big wages, Bolasie could be culled to make room for new signings, game time for Ademola Lookman and to reduce the club’s wage bill.
That as alerted Fenerbahce to his possible availability and the Congo international could be swayed to move to Eastern Europe.
Bolasie is already thought to have been told about Turkish top flight football by teammate Cenk Tosun.
The striker played in his homeland before he completed a January move to Everton and stated his belief that the 29-year-old should head there if he isn’t in Silva’s plans.
Bolasie is a popular figure among the first-team squad and the Evertonian fanbase.
However, his footballing ability and performances have been called into question since his return to the side last December.
It is difficult to judge the ex-Crystal Palace ace so soon after he returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
But, if Silva and Brands need room for summer recruits, Bolasie’s head could be next to roll.
The duo want to give talented forward Lookman more game time after he impressed on loan at RB Leipzig last season.
Coupled with other wide options in Theo Walcott, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Gylfi Sigurdsson, and Bolasie could struggle to feature regularly.
If Everton get a decent fee for him then they would likely look to sell.

They would, though, expect to take a huge financial hit on the £28m they shelled out for Bolasie only two summers ago.
