Moise Kean has finally put pen to paper and signed a five-year deal becoming the fifth player Everton have brought in this summer, so far.

Kean’s arrival comes as Everton step up their search for reinforcements with just under a week left before the transfer window slams shut again.

He follows Jean-Philipe Gbamin through the doors at Goodison Park, who also joined this week.

Manager Marco Silva has reiterated that he wants a number of further faces in at the Toffees before this summer’s transfer window closes.

One further addition that Silva has been desperate for is a right-wing attacker, preferably a left-footed one.

One player who might fit the bill here also has a rather appropriate name, Everton Cebolinha, a Brazil international who has just starred in his country’s Copa America win including scoring in the final.

The Blues have been linked with a late move for the Brazilian, who was earlier an alleged target of Arsenal. Signing a player called Everton would certainly be great symmetry and surely a marketing boon for the club!

Everton Cebolinha or Soares, is currently playing in Brazil so it’s not easy to find a lot of info and stats on him, but he certainly shone in the recent South American championship along with current Blues forward Richarlison.

He is a talented, pacey 23-year-old winger who can play on the left, right or behind the main striker and has had a fine recent season with his club Gremio.

Again that versatility would be invaluable and another reason why he might well fit in with what the Toffees are looking for in their players.

Another factor is that he would at least come into a team with several other of his countryman, Richarlison and Bernard, who would play alongside him.
That might help him settle and feel more at home quickly.

Cebolinha’s lack of European football experience might be a problem but then that was also true of Richarlison when he first signed for Watford, and both there and at Goodison Park.

However time is running out though for the Blues to strengthen and it looks that we’re in for a hectic few days as the artificial deadline ticks ever nearer.
