Strong performances haven’t gone unnoticed as Newcastle United and Everton have expressed their admiration for Kessie. However, according to Sempre Milan, Franck Kessie has shattered Everton’s dreams of having the Ivorian at Finch Farm as the player insists he is happy in Milan and feels like he is at home.
"Here I feel at home, I want to continue here. I have to give everything that I have to bring AC Milan as high as possible. (via Milan News)"
It is pretty clear from Kessie’s statement that he won’t be thinking of switching sides anytime soon. A move to the Premier League may interest him in the future but for now, his heart is set in Milan. Everton weren’t particularly upbeat in the transfer chase of Franck Kessie but his actions on the field always gave a good vibe to the club board.
With the 23 year old clearly stating he will continue in Milan as of now, the Toffees must focus on getting other players in the midfield.
