Napoli winger Hirving Lozano has asked his agent Mino Raiola to find him a new club with Everton reportedly opening the doors to a Premier League move.
Last season when Hirving Lozano switched Dutch Eredivisie to Italian Serie A, the move was seen as a major career upgrade and even for the Mexican starlet, it was a dream move. In less than 12 months time, the dream move has turned into an absolute nightmare as what was being seen as a visionary unification between Napoli and the speedster has now become an incompatible disaster.
Lozano has failed to turn the tide and win the support of loyal Neapolitans. In fact, the 24 year old has failed to even striker the right chord with the current coach Gennaro Gattuso. When Carlo Ancelotti was the Napoli boss, he enjoyed working with Lozano.
Even though the Mexican was still finding his feet in Italy, he was given game time and full support under the Ancelotti regime. The Italian coach had sensed the potential he had and even though the rate of return was only 3 goals in 16 games, Hirving Lozano was adapting at a good rate.
The regime change saw Gennaro Gattuso take over the reins in Naples and the turbulent times began in Lozano’s career. Reports emerged that the former AC Milan coach was not happy with the work ethic of the 24 year old and the relationship between the duo soon started hitting the rocks. Things became worse than ever last week, when Gattuso removed Lozano from the training for showing lack of commitment and being apathetic.

News soon came out that a Hirving Lozano exit was very much possible in the summer. Now, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno (cited by SportWitness), Chucky Lozano has told his agent Mino Raiola to search a new club for him.
Ever since Ancelotti came to the Goodison Park, reports have been flying of him wanting to reunite with his pupils of Napoli. Allan, Jose Callejon and Hirving Lozano were said to be at the top of the list. So, if Everton are seriously interested in bringing the blazing speedster to Merseyside, now is the time to shoot their shot.
The former PSV man is a versatile forward capable of playing anwhere across the front three. He could be a good bet to replace Theo Walcott in the starting eleven on the right flank. In fact, the latest goal that he scored on June 23 against Hellas Verona in his six minute debut came by playing at the right wing. Even under Ancelotti, he effectively played as a right winger at Stadio San Paolo.
So there’s a good reason to believe that Hirving Lozano might be an Evertonian next season. There might not be any complications from the player’s side as he desperately wants out of Naples. The only thing that Marcel Brands will have to worry about is the transfer fee.
