Everton take on Leicester City and here is Prince Rupert’s Tower predicted Toffees XI.

Team News

In the press conference building up to the game against Leicester City, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti highlighted some major team news. The blue half of Merseyside will breathe a sigh of relief as Yerry Mina has been cleared to join the team and is in contention.

The Italian boss gave some bad news as well as Djibril Sidibe, Theo Walcott and Fabian Delph remain out whereas Jean-Philippe Gbamin remain a long term absentee. The French full back will return to the team on Friday keeping him in contention for the Spurs game. Whereas Walcott will return to training on Monday and Delph continues his recovery in individual training sessions.

Everton will be looking to take advantage of Foxes’ poor run of games which has seen the Leicester City remain winless after the resumption. Ancelotti’s team will have an advantage in terms of fitness as Brendan Rodgers’ men played an exhaustive FA Cup tie against Chelsea. We predict that Toffees may not see big changes in the lineup as the Toffees are well rested, playing their last game on Wednesday at Norwich.

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

The forced halt due to the Corona Virus pandemic saw Pickford regain some much needed confidence as he was exceptional between the sticks in the two games since the resumeption of the league. Two clean sheets in two games against newly crowned champions Liverpool and Norwich City away from home indicate Pickford is at the top of his game.
