Everton could buy Allan, Geoffrey Kondogbia or Amer Gojak in the transfer window.

The transfer window will open on July 27 (the day after the season ends) and finish on October 5. Rumours have linked nearly 40 players with Everton since the lockdown began.,

According to Talksport, Everton has spent 450 million pounds since Farhad Moshiri became the main shareholder at Everton in 2016. And while Carlo Ancelotti has said he has been promised funds for the transfer window, according to the Guardian.

It’s unlikely Everton or any other team will have a lot of money to spend because of the affect of the Covid-19 virus. After watching Everton’s last three matches, it doesn’t take a football genius to know the Toffees need to bolster the middle of the park.

Everton have missed the steel of Idrissa Gueye since the Senegalese midfielder moved to Paris St. Germain in the summer of 2019. It hasn’t helped that Jean-Phillipe Gbamin, who was bought to replace Gueye, has missed the most of the season as a result of a succession of injuries.  Fabian Delph, who could also do a job there, has also been hit by injuries.

Gueye finished with 142 tackles in 33 games in his last season at Everton.

Currently, Richarlison has 66 tackles in 33 games, which is more than any midfielder. Delph, who is unlikely to play again this season, has 26 tackles in 16 games. Hardly numbers to inspire confidence.
