Everton target Odsonne Edouard could be on his way out of Celtic as they show interest in West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti.
Odsonne Edouard is constantly being linked with Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Everton, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United. A move to England is touted in the summer transfer window and with so many takers, Celtic may find it hard to keep hold of their star player. The Bhoys are adopting a cautious approach and keeping a plan ready if Edouard decides to leave. Celtic has generated interest in West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti.
Odsonne Edouard moved to Scotland from PSG in summer of 2018 for a fee of £10 million and since then has established himself as a talismanic attacker of the side. He stunned many with his last season’s performances racking up 22 goals and 8 assists in the 2018-19 season. This term, he has set the Scottish Premiership on fire scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists in 27 league games.
When you replicate these kinds of numbers week after week, season after season, interest is certain from the Premier league. All the teams linked to the 23 year old are keen to bolster the attack and Edouard could be the perfect match.
Everton have been linked from time to time but they aren’t the favorites in the chase. As per Daily Record, Crystal Palace were favorites to sign the Frenchman but Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle can’t be ruled out.

The Bhoys are also looking to roll the final dice by offering Odsonne Edouard a new deal but if that fails to keep the 22 year old at Celtic Park, the Scottish champs are gearing up for a replacement.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic are interested in signing West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti. The Swiss international is wanted by Celtic coach Neil Lennon and they have already asked about Ajeti’s availability to the Hammers.
The 23 year old has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League since his since his move from FC Basel last summer, clocking just 130 minutes of English Top Flight football. Celtic believe they can help Albian Ajeti rejuvenate his career by offering him uninterrupted run of games.
Even if Odsonne Edouard decides to move, Everton will not be his prime destination but if Marcel Brands and Ancelotti do enough to persuade the 22 year old, he’ll be an intriguing player to watch at Goodison Park.
As for Celtic, Albian Ajeti looks like a striker they would be interested in and the interest proves that the Scottish side may lose their jewel, Odsonne Edouard.
