Yannick Bolasie has intended that he wants to fight for a place in the team next season.

Matthew Pennington

Spent the 2019-20 season at Hull City, making 14 appearances for the Tigers. It was a season to forget for both Pennington and the Tigers, who plummeted to the bottom of the Championship and will join Wigan in League One. At 25, with one year left on his current Everton deal, Matthew Pennington will have leave the Royal Blues to find first-team action.

Shani Tarashaj

A reported illness prevented the Swiss forward playing for Dutch side FC Emmen. According to the Liverpool Echo, Tarashaj’s contract has been restructured to help facilitate a two-year loan deal with the Dutch side. He made no appearances for Everton, despite being highly touted by ex-manager Roberto Martinez.

Yannick Bolasie

Yannick Bolasie spent 2019-20 on loan at Portuguese heavyweights Sporting Lisbon. The right-footed left-winger made 14 appearances, scoring once and adding three assists. After the restart of the Portuguese season, Bolasie didn’t feature again for Sporting.  Bolasie has used social media to say he wants to fight for his place at Goodison, answering a question on Twitter.

Muhamed Besic

The tough-tackling defensive midfielder spent the season on-loan with Premier League new boys Sheffield United, however, he only made nine appearances for the surprise team of the season.

Despite the lack of bite in Everton’s midfield this season, Muhamed Besic will likely leave Goodison. There are reports of Chris Wilder being keen to bring him permanently to Bramall Lane. His Everton contract ends in 2021. He had previously made 56 appearances in all competitions after being brought to the club by Martinez.
