Everton endured a tough and forgetful campaign but there are hopes that next season will be better especially after Carlo Ancelotti taking over the reins.

We sat down with a couple of fans and an Everton fan page to know their views on the Everton season and how have the players performed.  Prince Rupert’s Tower thanks Aide Dews (@AidyDews), David Wilkinson(@DVDWLKNSN) and Everton fan channel The Mighty Blues (@MightyBluesYT) (Youtube Channel: TheMightyBlues) for their time and views.

PRT: How has the overall season been according to your expectations?

"Aide Dews: Not good enough David Wilkinson: Poor, wasn’t expecting miracles but did predict a serious top 7 challenge. The Mighty Blues: I think when we remember the 2019/20 season, not only will we remember the devastating effects that a worldwide pandemic had on the human race, but we will also remember it as another hot and cold season for Everton Football Club."

"When the season started, I felt there was a lot of optimism surrounding Everton and Evertonians worldwide. It was Marco Silva’s second year in charge; we had brought in a replacement for Idrissa Gana Gueye, one of our most important players, as well as bringing in one of the most talented young strikers in Europe. But, much like the 2018/19 season, we have had another rollercoaster season filled with ups, and far too many downs. However, to say that we are ending the season with Carlo Ancelotti, a three time UEFA Champions League winning manager in charge of our Football Club, I am more optimistic now than I have ever been in my twenty one year’s supporting the Blues!"
