Everton can raid PSG to sign right back Colin Dagba.
Everton have an interesting conundrum at right back as Seamus Coleman slowly reaches the end of his career. A viable replacement must be ready in the wings in order to facilitate a smooth transition. With the future of Jonjoe Kenny uncertain, the Toffees are in the market to sign a new right-back. Colin Dagba of PSG has caught the eye of the Everton hierarchy.
PSG is undergoing some massive changes in defence with their long serving veteran defender Thiago Silva leaving Paris after the Champions League assignment. Right back Thomas Meunier has already left for Borussia Dortmund after seeing his contract out. PSG Sporting director hinted back in June that Colin Dagba could leave too, after Everton and some other clubs made their interest known.
However, the Ligue 1 champions were demanding €30 million (£26 million) for the right back, which no club will approve of. Now that we have entered the transfer window period, the talks of a potential transfer of Dagba have intensified and a deal could be on the cards.
According to Le10 Sport, Everton can raid PSG to sign right back Colin Dagba, albeit not for €30 million. The departure of Thomas Meunier doesn’t guarantee a starting spot to the 21 year old for next season with the French club themselves on the hunt for a top quality right back.

Carlo Ancelotti thinks highly of Dagba and sees him as a strong option for Toffees. The 21 year old will get fair amount of chances at Goodison Park, especially after the Merseysiders opted out of signing Djibril Sidibe on a permanent transfer.
The €30 million asking price does put off the Royal Blues and so far no bids have been submitted. In fact, TF1 Journalist Julien Maynard has clarified that there won’t be any offers from Brands of €30 million.
One thing is for sure, the availability of Colin Dagba does turn a few heads in the Toffees offices but no substantial steps have been taken as of yet to bring the 21 year old to Goodison Park. It remains to be seen if PSG changes their stance in the future and the Royal Blues submit a bid.
