Carlo Ancelotti has won the Champions’ League 3 times, getting Everton there would be great, he says.

Carlo Ancelotti was given a four-and-half-year contract when he took charge at Everton in December of 2019. He may well need all of it to get the Toffees into the Champions League.

Despite heavy investment and a number of managerial changes since Farhad Moshiri became majority shareholder, At best, Everton have been average and sometimes, mediocre.

David Moyes was the manager who put Everton on the Champions League map when the Blue half of Merseyside made the Champions League for the only time in 2004. In football terms, that is lifetimes ago. "Every single year is the most difficult because every single year I had difficulties and I try to work and move on. An important part of your job is to solve problems, and problems are always behind the door."
