Another day, another round of transfer rumours, including stories that Everton striker Moise Kean’s agent is trying again to engineer a move for him, away from Goodison Park.
We’ve seen sporadic stories emerging that Kean wants to leave Everton, ever since the January transfer window.
The young Italian striker has obviously struggled badly to make an impression since his big money move to Goodison Park last summer.
He had a tough time convincing former manager Marco Silva he should be given a chance in the Toffees mis-firing attack and had problems with his discipline, which meant he had very limited opportunities under the Portuguese.
At the turn of the year there were stories he was looking for a move away. Those rumours seemed to dissipate with the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as the new Blues boss.
Although the jury was still out on the young ex-Juventus player, it was hoped that the shrewd and hugely experienced Italian manager would use his very considerable man-management skills to get the best out of him and help convince him to stay.
Ancelotti’s arrival however, didn’t mean that Kean got much more playing time. Apart from a few appearances, the teenager still spent most of his time warming the bench as Ancelotti stuck with his strike force of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Now there are fresh claims that Kean’s agent Mino Raiola is trying to put together a deal to take his client back to Italy this summer.

I have previously said I felt that the Blues need to give Kean one more year to see of he translate that potential into goals for Everton.
However, if as this report claims, (and its a big if obviously), the Toffees could get almost as much as they paid for him in this post-pandemic financial upheaval, then it might be worth considering.
Bringing in around £25 million would give Everton a bit more leverage in the transfer market as they try to strengthen for next season.
That is something that is certainly needed as the club struggle to shift the deadwood in the squad, avoid falling foul of Financial Fair Play and take account of the decline in income post-pandemic.
The Toffees also have precious few assets they could sell if they were seeking to raise further funds for Ancelotti’s huge re-building job.
It’s all if, buts and maybes but then that’s the story with the Blues transfer market business every year it seems.
