AS Roma player Alessandro Florenzi has been linked to Everton. If a transfer does take place, Ancelotti will be able to solve multiple problems in one go.
It is safe to say that Everton hasn’t had the best of summer transfer windows yet. There have been plenty of players linked, some vague rumours, some serious possibilities but at the end no player has arrived at Goodison Park. The media say it is because Brands and Ancelotti are simultaneously working to get the best possible transfer. A transfer for Alessandro Florenzi may prove to be a masterstroke.
According to reputable journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton is actively seeking a deal for AS Roma right back Alessandro Florenzi. The 29 year old spent the final half of the season on loan at Valencia. Carlo Ancelotti admires the Italian and dreams of bringing him to Goodison. A move for Florenzi will solve two major problems in one go.
Everton’s right wing is an area of concern. Since Don Carlo took over the reins at Merseyside, he has deployed eight different players on the right wide position but the results have been poor and identical.
Alex Iwobi, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott have tried their luck. Right back Djibril Sidibe was also used in the right wide position and to everyone’s surprise, he managed to do an efficient job than traditional wingers Iwobi and Walcott.
