The future of Moise Kean is in doubt as Everton linked to AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
Moise Kean has had a tough start to life at Everton. After just one season and a few handful appearances, news of separation have started gaining momentum. His agent, Mino Raiola, is trying to engineer a deal to AC Milan. If Kean does depart, Callum Wilson of AFC Bournemouth can be taken into consideration.
Moise Kean has just managed to play a total of 29 Premier League games but just started 6 of them. In total, he clocked 834 minutes of Premier League football scoring just two goals.
The Italian hasn’t hit the ground running since his £25 million switch from Juventus. Marco Silva, Duncan Ferguson and now Carlo Ancelotti, all three managers have pressed that Kean has the potential to be a top striker but needs to furnish his game.
Calciomercato reported that Kean’s agent, Mino Raiola, is plotting a deal that will see his client move to AC Milan after just one year in England. Super agent Raiola feels that the signing of Moise Kean will convince Zlatan Ibrahimovic to extend his stay at AC Milan. The report further added that the Toffees are willing to sell at £22.5 million but AC Milan prefer a loan with an option to buy deal.
The uncertainty of Moise Kean has sparked rumours of Everton working on a striker replacement. According to the Daily Mail, AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is a target for Everton. The Cherries will demand £30 million for Wilson who is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
Tottenham Hotspur is said to be the front runners but Everton are in the mix. If a deal for Moise Kean is finalized, Callum Wilson may arrive at Goodison Park. He will surely be an upgrade to Kean but is he the right choice in the long run?

No. A lot of fingers have been pointed at Moise Kean but Carlo Ancelotti has defended Kean in media and public. The Italian boss has reiterated from time to time that Kean is in his plans and is an important part of the team. He needs to remain patient and keep his head down while polishing himself as a footballer.
"Of course, he is a player we need to give support to, because he is young. He came here from Italy, so it was a new adaptation for him, a new country. Also, he was alone during the lockdown and so it was not an easy season for him. But this season can give him more experience and more knowledge. He will be better and play more next season. Perhaps, Callum Wilson is a better footballer than Kean at the moment. But at 28, Wilson is in his peak and has at best 4 years where he can give his absolute best.
Whereas Moise Kean is just 20 and has time on his side to improvise, adapt and thrive. In Moise Kean, Everton have a dangerous, pacey and prolific striker for tomorrow. The Toffees should refrain from selling the 20 year old Italian who can emulate Romelu Lukaku in the future.
Will Moise Kean stay at Goodison Park?
