Napoli and AS Roma plan player swap deal which will upset Everton
Napoli is interested in signing Cengiz Under while AS Roma is interested in Nikola Maksimovic and Arkadiusz Milik. A swap deal will upset Everton as the Toffees remain interested in Maksimovic as well.
A lot of transfer dealings have been taking place in and around Italy. The transfer buzz in Serie A is higher than usual and teams like Napoli, AC Milan, AS Roma and Inter Milan are linked with a long list of players.
Napoli and Roma, in particular, are making moves to get deals done. Both the sides have players that the other team wants and a bridge for transfer exchanges will soon be established. Napoli are interested in signing right winger Cengiz Under from the Giallorossi. Jose Callejon left Naples after 7 seasons as a free agent leaving a position to be filled by Napoli.
Meanwhile, AS Roma wants Aradiusz Milik and Nikola Maksimovic from the Naples side. There is a chance that a deal with mutual consent may be agreed upon. A direct swap deal is unlikely but simultaneous transfers cannot be ruled out.
It is highly possible that Under will move to Stadio San Paolo and the duo of Milik and Maksimovic will move in the opposite direction. As per CalcioNapoli24, Gennaro Gattuso remains interested in Under and Jordan Vertout and the Romans are in for Maksimovic and Milik. However, AS Roma will only move for the Polish striker should Edin Dzeko leave Stadio Olimpico.
