Everton is aware of losing star man Richarlison to FC Barcelona this summer.
Everton is aware of losing talisman Richarlison to FC Barcelona in the transfer window as new Blaugrana boss Ronald Koeman begins the squad overhaul. The Catalnas had sizeable interest in the Brazilian last winter and even launched an offensive and tempting bid of £100 million which was immediately turned down by the Toffees.
The bosses at Goodison Park are aware that Barcelona could again come in with a starlting offer for the 23 year old but they are in no mood to let Richarlison leave. If at all, Barcelona decide to still make a ludicrous attempt, Everton are ready to slap a £143 million price tag on Richarlison, as per the Mirror.
Ronald Koeman isn’t interested in retaining the services of Luis Suarez anymore and there are whispers of Lionel Messi leaving Camp Nou as well. In such a scenario, Barcelona will be forced to find an able replacement to cover up for the colossal loss. Everton are stern on not letting Richarlison leave at any cost and that is why have slapped a £143 million price tag for their prized asset.
The Brazilian has already fired a warning of sorts that he is ready to stay for one more season but if rival clubs come with an offer he will mull over his future. Ancelotti is trying to build the team around him and he staying until the Toffees achieve the ultimate goal of Champions League is of utmost importance.

If thought from the Brazilian’s point of view, it is not wrong to think of playing for a side like Barcelona. The elite clubs are offering the 23 year old to play in Europe’s most coveted competition that, to be frank Everton won’t be able to offer for the next couple of seasons.
If the sluggish performances continue, the Toffees will have to allow the Richarlison to leave because he is clearly proving to be too good. Carlo Ancelotti has absolute confidence in the forward and is hopeful that he can extract more out of Richarlison next season.
Meanwhile, Barcelona or any other side eyeing Richarlison will be instantly warned off by £143 million price tag. Considering the losses incurred by the clubs due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and lack of funds available for transfers, no team will be stupid enough to spend £143 million on a single player.
It is almost set in stone that Richarlison will not be sold or will not leave Merseyside this summer but if Everton’s displays on the pitch do not improve, chances of the Brazilian staying are not guaranteed.
