Juventus wants to bring Moise Kean back to Turin and Everton are willing to let him go back, on loan.
According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, Everton is willing to let Moise Kean to return to Italy on a temporary basis with the aim of getting the young forward more playing time.
The report in Italian outlet Tuttosport claims that Carlo Ancelotti is willing to let Kean return to Juventus on a temporary basis to get the 20-year-old get more playing time than he would at Goodison.
The Italian international moved to England only last summer for 27 million pounds but failed to make much of an impact in the Premier League. Kean scored twice in 29 league appearances for Everton in 2019-2020. In 2018-2019, Kean scored seven times in 16 matches for Bianconeri.
Earlier this summer, it seemed like Ancelotti wanted to keep Moise Kean at Goodison Park, but did ask for patience. Patience for both player and manager.
The veteran Italian manager told the Liverpool Echo:
"We have to be patient with him. He has to work and improve. He has to work in technical areas and improve of course. He has to be better in finishing, he has to be better in controlling the ball and I think we have to be patient. When a player is young you need to be patient so that day by day he can show his quality, he can show his knowledge and he can improve his experience.”"
During the same interview, Ancelotti said Everton indicated the Royal Blues were going to have three first-team strikers: Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Kean.
As for Moise Kean himself, he definitely made the right noises about remaining at Goodison Park as he told Everton official site:
"When we come back, I am going to be ready to show to the boss I am always ready to help my team and play well. Every day he asks me to do more and I try to show I can be in his team. He asks me to be focused and always give more and I try to repay him."
So what could make Ancelotti change his mind and let the promising starlet return to Italy on a temporary basis?
On the 8th of August this year, Juventus fired Maurizio Sarri as their manager and replaced him with former Juventus and Italian great, Andrea Pirlo.
While at AC Milan, Pirlo played for Ancelotti for eight years and gives him much of the credit in his development as a player.
In 2015, the midfield magician credited Ancelotti for making him a deep-laying playmaker.
Pirlo said Ancelotti was a father figure, telling La Gazzetta Dello Sport in 2015, he changed my life putting me in front of the defence. Pirlo has said he wants to make Juventus younger and Kean would do that.
According to The Daily Mail, Pirlo will use Kean as impact sub and to provide cover for Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala. Ancelotti was pleased with Pirlo getting the Juve job and wished him good luck using social media. Surely exposure to that level of attacking nous and skill would benefit Kean.
So what do you think, should Everton let Moise Kean spend a season on loan at Juventus and would it benefit him?
