After months of speculation and talks, it looks like Carlo Ancelotti has finally got  Allan along with James Rodriguez who edges ever so closer as Everton turn up the heat on their summer transfer window.

According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Everton have today finally reached an agreement with Napoli for the signing of Brazilian midfielder Allan.

Allan is a player that boss Carlo Ancelotti had been desperate to bring to Goodison Park this summer is said to be scheduled for a medical this coming week and is also set to discuss personal terms with the club.

The fee that has been agreed between the two clubs is reported to be €25m plus add ons which could potentially rise to around the €30m mark.

Allan’s addition to the squad would be huge for Ancelotti as he’s widely known to be a tough tackler who can also play the ball. Something of which Everton need after the departure of Idrissa Gueye.

Another player who also looks set to make his move to Merseyside this week is James Rodriguez.

According to TalkSport, Rodriguez is set to arrive on Merseyside in the coming days for a medical which will see him once again join forces with Ancelotti for the third time in his career.

It’s understood that once the Columbian international has completed his medical, he will join the club on a season-long loan deal.

Along with TalkSport, the before mentioned Fabrizio Romano also touched on the status of a deal for Rodriguez to Toffees in which he stated that ‘talks are on’ between the Royal Blues and Real Madrid. Is it really happening?.. Right now, it certainly looks like it.

With the news that Ancelotti looks set to bring in two massively key players to the Toffees within days of each other, next week could prove pivotal for the club as they continue to prepare for what looks like is going to be a very very exciting new season coming.

Will Everton manage to have both players by the end of next week?
