Everton outcast Sandro Ramirez is wanted by four Spanish clubs including the likes of Eibar and Real Valladolid.

When Romelu Lukaku left Everton, the task of filling the void came onto the shoulders of new signing Sandro Ramirez and Cenk Tosun. It is safe to say both have failed miserably and are now set to be discarded from the team. Sandro Ramirez arrived at Goodison Park with high hopes and Ronald Koeman expected the Spaniard to get a bunch of goals.

However, the €6 million invested in him proved to be going down the drain with abysmal performances from Sandro Ramirez throughout his time at Goodison Park. In less than six months it was clear that Sandro wasn’t suited for the Premier League. The Spaniard has gone from a coup for Everton to unwanted liability.

Loans to Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid didn’t do any favours in increasing his value. In the hindsight, his transfer value has downgraded even more. Everton are desperate to sell him and clear the deadwood to make space for new arrivals and generate funds that can be used further in transfers.

According to Mundo Devportivo (via Sport Witness), Sandro Ramirez continues to attract attention from clubs of Portugal and Spain. Spanish side SD Eibar is the most interest party in the 25 year old. Elche, SD Huesca and Real Valladolid are also tracking the situation of Sandro Ramirez.

More from Prince Rupert's Tower

The 25 year old spent last season on loan at Valladolid, playing in 26 games and scoring 4 goals, a poor return from a striker. The La Masia graduate has seen his value plummet massively and Everton may not even be able to recoup the €6 million they paid to Malaga in 2017.

Apart from the four Spanish teams mentioned, Sporting and SC Braga of Liga NOS have also enquired about the striker. The Portuguese sides also asked about him last season but the Spaniard joined Real Valladolid on loan.

Ramirez’s contract runs till 2021 and he roughly earns £70,000 a week. Carlo Ancelotti has personally informed Sandro Ramirez that the striker is not in his plans and getting rid of him should be a priority for the Toffees.

A sale should be made rather than sending him out on loan again or else the Toffees risk losing him on a free transfer next season. It is better to sell him for something rather than letting him go for nothing. I doubt any club will be willing to pay anything close to €6 million and the Merseysiders will have to incur a significant amount of loss.
