Crystal Palace are already preparing for life after Wilfired Zaha and have lined up Jeremie Boga as a replacement to the Everton target.

Crystal Palace did all they could to keep hold of Wilfried Zaha last summer amid the burgeoning interest of Arsenal and Everton. This time around, it seems that the Eagles have accepted the reality and are willing to let their talisman leave with the Toffees once again being the interested party.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitted that Zaha has told him that he wants to leave and the club is also open to cashing in on him. Any bid in the region of £30 million will be enough to convince the Palace hierarchy into agreeing to the deal. In fact, Crystal Palace are also evaluating options that can arrive at Selhurst Park as a replacement to the Ivorian.

According to Sky Sports, Palace are planning a bid for Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga if Wilfried Zaha decides to leave. The London based team already signed Eberechi Eze from QPR. Boga is a like for like replacement to Wilfried Zaha. However, signing Jeremie Boga from Sassuolo won’t be an easy task.

The Neroverdi have slapped a price tag of £30 million on the former Chelsea man. Despite the asking price, a number of clubs are scrambling to sign Jeremie Boga. Napoli, Bayer Leverkusen, Stade Rennais and Atalanta are tracking Boga. Carlo Ancelotti also remains an admirer of the Ivorian but Everton haven’t taken any concrete steps to sign the 23 year old.

Instead, Wilfried Zaha looks higher on the wish list than Jeremie Boga. Now obviously, Crystal Palace’s interest in Boga doesn’t warrant that the Sassuolo man will move to Selhurst Park. However, this surely means that Eagles have somewhere accepted that Zaha will leave the London club.

After the triple captures of Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure, the Toffees will now hope to offload some of the deadwood before signing any new players. Sky Sports journalist Vinny O’Connor confirmed that the Royal Blues isn’t looking to stop their spending spree and will target a right back and a right winger.

Wilfried Zaha certainly fits the bill. His links to Everton have gone silent in the last few weeks but he for sure is being discussed in the Everton offices. With the triple signing completed, Marcel Brands and Ancelotti can now shift their focus on signing a winger.
