Gianluca Di Marzio: Everton man is a ‘hot name’ for European giants
Transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Everton striker Moise Kean is a ‘hot name’ for Juventus.
Everton striker Moise Kean has endured a tough start to life in England since his move to Merseyside. The Toffees paid £27 million to Juventus with a hope that the Italian will repay the investment with a huge chunk of goals. However, 12 months after his arrival at Goodison, the results have been poor. So much so that talks of separation have already started gaining momentum and Juventus is the side plotting a return.
Maurizio Sarri was replaced by Andrea Pirlo at the helm and the new boss wants to renovate the striking department. Gonzalo Higuain is on his way to MLS and will reunite with Blaise Matuidi at Inter Miami.
According to Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have been linked to a total of four strikers. Bianconeri are close to reaching to an agreement with Luis Suarez who will appear for an Italian exam next week in order to obtain an Italian passport. Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has agreed a deal in principle with the Old Lady that will see the Frenchman earn €4.5 million a season.
Lastly, Di Marzio revealed that Moise Kean is a ‘hot name’ amongst the Juventus hierarchy and they will try to push for the 20 year old even if the aforementioned attackers arrive in Turin. Juventus are weighing for a loan move for the 20 year old but Everton has rejected the proposal at the moment.
As per Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), the Serie A champions are hunting for a classic No. 9 and a deputy No.9. Moise Kean fits into the deputy role and Pirlo is keen to bring him back to Turin. A couple of days ago, reports were flying around that Moise Kean was eager to return to Juventus and in order to get some playing time.

Yes, it is true that the 20 year old suffered last season and never got a full fledged run in the starting lineup. But, this is where Carlo Ancelotti’s words come into play. He has spoken in the media from time to time that he has full confidence in the Italian and the player needs to remain patient for his chances.
Moise Kean made a huge lunge when he switched from Italy to England. Two different countries, two diverse playing styles, two distinct cultures, a teenage will need time to settle and get into the flow of things.
The Toffees are in no mood to let Kean leave as it will be against their idea of building a strong team with enough youthful exuberance. There have been numerous trustable sources claiming Juve’s interest in Moise Kean, but all reports had an identical conclusion: Everton are not interested in letting the 20 year old leave.
Marcel Brands and Carlo Ancelotti are making the right decision of not letting Kean go. At Juventus, he will pretty much see the same amount of game time that he saw last season at Goodison. Edin Dzeko, Giroud and Luis Suarez have all been linked and even if two of these join the Old Lady, Kean’s chances of making it into playing eleven will be as rare as a blue moon.
Whereas at Everton, there’s definite evidence from Ancelotti’s side that the Italian attacker is in Don Carlo’s plans and will feature more often than he did last term.
