Everton travel to North London to face Tottenham Hotspur in the opening fixture of the 2020-21 Premier League season, here are three interesting clashes for Sunday’s game.

It has been 49 days since Everton last played a Premier League game. For many of us, these 49 days without Premier League football have felt like an eternity. The summer transfer window of Here-we-go’s has kept us entertained but it’s the football that we have been craving now.

Our thirst for Everton and league football finally will be quenched when the Toffees take one Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. There’s an air of optimism this time around in the Everton half, mainly because of three new midfield arrivals in the form of Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Whether the team has improved after pre-season and new arrivals or not will be known after tomorrow’s game against Spurs. Jose Mourinho’s side also has made key additions, signing Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who was also a target for the Toffees.
