Another summer arrival at Spurs, Matt Doherty will likely be on the field in the opener. He will need to be on his toes defensively as Everton like to attack down the left as well as providing width in attack. Left-back Lucas Digne led Everton in assists with 7, according to who scored.

Teenager Anthony Gordon will likely be given a start as Carlo Ancelotti will look to boost the 19-year-olds confidence even more. Gordon impressed as he fought his way into the starting line-up after the lockdown and impressed during in his 4 starts.

Everton will have a host of additional attacking choices to bring on and Bernard could be another issue for Doherty to deal with n the last 20 minutes or so.

However, the Irish international will also provide an attacking threat for Spurs as he is more than capable of providing width on the overlap and putting in a cross as well as popping up with a goal himself.

According to the official site of the Premier League, Matt Doherty scored 4 goals, had 3 assists and put in 16 crosses. With players like Kane, the assist total may go up for Doherty.
