Dele Alli has the capabilities of delivering a sucker punch to Everton.

Dele Alli is another Spur who likes to play Everton. He scored 4 times against Everton, including Spurs’ goal in last season’s 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.

The 24-year-old England international scored 8 goals and added 4 assists in 25 league games last season according to the EPL official website.

But Dele Alli is definitely more than. just a goal threat. He has pace and ability on the ball and can find space, so his presence should help keep Everton honest.

North London hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Everton and the last time the Toffees beat Spurs away was back in November 2008 as the Blues won 1-0 on an own goal by Vedran Corluka.

So it’s not an ideal place to start the new season, but Tottenham should be a good measuring stick as Spurs manager Jose Mourinho was quoted in the Liverpool Echo as saying,

"I do see them as top six challengers. I think the 10 point distance last season was just the consequence of how strange last season was."

So it’s a chance for Everton to make an early statement and if they can control these 3 Spurs, they have a good chance.
