Everton may have been handed a golden opportunity to take Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan as the player pushes for a Chelsea exit.
A report from to 90min a few weeks ago suggested that Chelsea have told winger Callum Hudson-Odoi that he could be loaned out after the arrival of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen. Everton can pounce on the teenager after he has been made available in the loan market.
Every Everton fan is on cloud nine after the triple arrivals of Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure. The new signings have wasted no time to make an impact and in fact, Niels Nkounkou has also produced some eye-catching displays.
Everton still has time to make more upgrades and bolster their team. The Toffees are trying to sign a winger and a right back. Rumours of Wilfried Zaha and Hirving Lozano have been trending constantly but nothing concrete has been revealed yet. As for Hirving Lozano, Napoli have had a change of heart and are no longer interested in selling him.
While options are being examined at the wing position, the name of Callum Hudson-Odoi should be looked at. Chelsea has quite frankly had one of the most imposing and fruitful transfer window. They have come to a point where they are signing players for fun. Manager Frank Lampard has ameliorated the attack with the signings of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.

Now, according to TalkSPORT, Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for a loan move after falling down the pecking order. The youngster had a rare outing against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup and even though Frank Lampard was pleased with the 19 year old, cup appearances won’t satisfy Hudson-Odoi. Bayern Munich is interested in taking the Chelsea youngster on loan. However, the Toffees should try signing Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan.
There’s no doubt about Callum Hudson-Odoi’s talent. If the Chelsea hierarchy had doubts over the 19 year old’s capabilities they would have placed him on the transfer list. Everton won’t be taking a big risk when it comes to Hudson-Odoi.
The Englishman had a season to forget last year because of the injuries that halted his progress. He is fit, sharp and raring to go.
Everton can make the most of this situation and take Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan in order to add depth to the wing, at least temporarily. The Englishman is capable of bombarding through either flanks and unleash his flashy style.
At Everton, he will be able to learn from a three time Champions League manager and develop his game in the Finch Farm ecosystem.
