Everton player ratings vs. Fleetwood Town: Richarlison breaks duck, Bernard exquisite
Richarlison broke his goal duck, scoring two stunning goals.
Alex Iwobi (Right wing) 8
A good game from somebody who gets a lot of stick from Evertonians. His back heel to set up Richarlison’s second goal was sublime and he took his goal well, could have had another goal, he was always looking to make things happen.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Centre-forward) 6
He’s not going to score in every match, not even Dixie could do that. He just seemed a little bit slow in getting to some crosses and forced a great save out of the Fleetwood Town ‘keeper. Taken off at half-time.
Richarlison (Left wing) 8
Got on the score sheet for the first time this season. Richarlison showed his abilities as both goals were different. His first game from a header from Bernard’s cross and his second after he and Iwobi worked a nice one-two.
Substitutions:
Anthony Gordon (on for Calvert-Lewin 46′) 8
Came on at the half and played as if he something to prove. He and Knounkou raided up the left flank. Gordon used his pace to get past defenders and put telling balls in. He pushing hard for more time.
Tom Davies (Central midfield on for Delph 62′) 7
Another target for negativity. He came on and helped settle things down just when it seemed Fleetwood was finding their way back into the match. The kind of thing managers notice.
Moise Kean (Center forward on for Richarlison 76′) 7
Scored a goal courtesy of a brilliant cut back from Niels Nkounkou.
