Seamus Coleman and Yerry Mina are expected to return to the starting lineup after a mid-week rest.

Defence

Right Back: Seamus Coleman

Seamus Coleman was once again rested for the cup game in midweek, with Jonjoe Kenny filling in at right back. But after impressive displays in the two league games so far this season, we should expect to see the club Captain return to the starting eleven for the game against Crystal Palace.

Centre Backs: Michael Keane & Yerry Mina

Michael Keane has been Everton’s only ever-present across their four fixtures so far and has been a solid figure at the back while also chipping in with two goals up the other end of the pitch. His composed and commanding displays in the four games so far has seen him become Carlo Ancelotti’s first choice centre back from the options he currently has available to him.

As for Yerry Mina, he was described as putting in an ‘average’ performance against West Bromwich Albion last weekend by Ancelotti and the Colombian sat out the midweek fixture against Fleetwood.

However, he remains the most obvious choice to partner Keane in the centre of Everton’s defence this weekend and will be hoping to put in a better performance against Crystal Palace to get back into the manager’s good books.

Left Back: Lucas Digne

With Mina rested in midweek, Lucas Digne filled in at centre back and put in another solid display in an unfavoured position for the Frenchman. However, with Ancelotti looking to field his strongest possible side this weekend, we should expect to see Digne revert to his more familiar left back position.
