Everton is likely to loan Moise Kean back to Juventus and with that, the club is being linked with a loan move to Arkadisuz Milik of Napoli.
The transfer of Moise Kean to Everton from Juventus was seen as a big win for the Toffees as they had supposedly laid their hands on one of the hottest prospects of Europe. The Italian made a move for £27 million but has failed to live up to the expectations so far. This has prompted the talks of an early separation with Juventus keen to take him back on loan. If Kean does depart, Everton is looking at Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
Everton is eyeing a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik. According to reputable journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton has entered the race to sign Milik and will compete with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur for the signature.
The Pole’s move to AS Roma has collapsed after a disagreement in fees which has opened a door for the Premier League clubs to try their luck signing the 26 year old. Taking a look at Everton, this all will fall into the picture perfectly if Moise Kean gets loaned out.
So, in a way Everton is seeking a replacement for Moise Kean as the Italian is close to moving to Old Lady. His agent, Mino Raiola, is working closely with Juventus to facilitate a return to Turin.
So, if the deal takes place, is Arkadiusz Milik the right man? Well, he is a poacher and scores goals for fun. However, these talks about Milik’s potential switch to Everton don’t make sense. I am not saying that Di Marzio is reporting rumours but despite the truth behind these links, it is very senseless.

Take the entire thing into perspective. Even if Arkadiusz Milik does make a switch he won’t be the first choice. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is galloping at an insane pace and has been explosive in the early stages of the campaign.
You can consider Moise Kean as a good backup who will get a few substitute appearances and cup starts as he continues to tread on the development path.
Moise Kean is just 20 and still polishing his skills day by day. He is expected to be in a deputy role and remain patient. As for Milik, he is already a proven prolific goal scorer who is in his prime.
He won’t always make the cut as a starting striker at Everton whereas at any other team he’ll be the go-to man. Carlo Ancelotti has full faith in DCL and he won’t discard him or demote him as a substitute striker on the arrival of Milik.
This makes life difficult for the Polish international. In fact, the 26 year old is hesitant to go to Spurs because he’ll have to act as a deputy to Harry Kane. If Moise Kean gets loaned, Arkadiusz Milik is over qualified to act as a replacement and a backup to Calvert-Lewin. It will be very harsh on DCL, if he gets downgraded to a secondary striker in the squad.
All in all, Arkadiusz Milik and Dominic Calvert-Lewin won’t get on well in terms of playing for the same spot. One will have to yield and both these strikers are so adept that neither should play as a second fiddle.
So, despite these links of Everton joining the race for Milik, a move won’t make sense even if Moise Kean gets loaned out. If the Italian does get loaned, the Toffees should search for another back up.
