Muhamed Besic doesn’t feature in Ancelotti’s plans.

5. Muhamed Besic

Mo Besic has not even come close to featuring for Everton this season. Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear to the Bosnian that he doesn’t feature in his plans and the midfielder can sort his future elsewhere.

At this moment, there aren’t any takers for him but it may soon change in the final week of the transfer window. He was decent during his loan spell at Sheffield United last season and with just one year left on his deal, he could be dirt-cheap for any side.

A Liverpool Echo report claimed back in August that interest was growing from clubs in Turkey, Italy, Spain and Germany for Muhamed Besic. He will be a reasonable addition to a side that is looking to add squad depth and his future surely lies away from Everton.

These were the five players who will likely get loaned or sold or even released before the end of the transfer window. Everton can massively trim their squad size which makes management of players, finances a lot easier. Having a compact yet complete squad enables the manager to infuse his ideas as the squad is concentrated and better controlled.
