Everton take on West Ham United in the fourth round of Carabao Cup.

After two convincing victories in the Carabao Cup against Salford City and Fleetwood Town, Everton will lock horns with West Ham United. The Toffees are off to the best possible start of the season with 5 wins out of 5 games. Carlo Ancelotti’s men will be hopeful of continuing their 100 per cent winning record this season by winning against West Ham.

Of course, since Everton played on Saturday, Ancelotti will make quite a few changes. However, Ancelotti wouldn’t field a very inexperienced or an eleven that was similar to what he fielded against Salford. It’ll be parallel to the one that the Italian named for the Fleetwood game. West Ham won’t be an easy opposition and the Toffees won’t be able to easily walk past them.

Match Preview. Everton v West Ham United. light

Based on current form and aura in the dressing room, Everton will surely ride high on confidence and will be confident of winning the Carabao Cup Round of 16 tie and progress to the quarter finals. Here is the Everton predicted line up against West Ham United:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

I’d love to see Joao Virginia get some minutes but based on evidence from the Fleetwood game, Ancelotti is likely to go with Jordan Pickford. The Englishman did get a lot of stick last time around against Fleetwood and he’ll be gunning to perform to the best of his abilities to win the trust back of the Everton faithful.
