Theo Walcott is expected to return to the starting line up after being out of the squad for Palace game.
Forwards:
Right wing: Theo Walcott
Carlo Ancelotti hinted that Theo Walcott may stay at Everton despite reports suggesting that the Toffees are planning a massive deadwood clearout. From Ancelotti’s comments it is clear that he still sees something in Walcott and trusts him. The manager insisted that despite leaving Walcott out of the squad for the Palace game, the 31 year old is still in his plans.
With him not even travelling to London on Saturday and given a complete rest, his involvement is expected against West Ham United.
Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Whatever Dominic Calvert-Lewin is touching, is turning into goal. The 23 year old can’t simply stop scoring. DCL has exploded and looks to continue his fine goalscoring form. Ancelotti won’t go with Moise Kean since the start simply to make sure Everton don’t fall behind and lack in the early stages of the game. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will hope to take advantage of a vulnerable Hammers defence and add more goals to his 5 goal tally this season.
Left wing: Alex Iwobi
Richarlison deserves some rest after the intense game he has had against Palace. If things go south he’ll always be available on the bench but I trust Iwobi to not make major blunders. The Nigerian gave a very strong performance against Fleetwood and will be hopeful to repeat a similar performance this time around.
Alex Iwobi is likely to stay at Everton for the season but he needs to convince Ancelotti that he deserves to be the part of this massive project or else it could soon be a bye-bye.
