West Ham United’s win against Wolves was somewhat a shocking result.

PRT: Which are the positions West Ham still need to improve and upgrade?

"Henry: The full-backs are the main cause for concern. Werst Ham have not paid a transfer fee for a full-back since 2016, that was on Arthur Masuaku. The club has spent less than £10m on its current full-back options (Cresswell £3.5m + Masuaku £6m). The positions have needed strengthening via major investment for years. But the most that has happened since Masuaku arrived have been aged free agents. Pablo Zabaleta, Patrice Evra and Alvaro Arbeloa have all been and left. The dream signings would be Rico Henry from Brentford and Max Aarons from Norwich, but they will likely cost money that the owners will not be willing to part with."

PRT: Was the recent 4-0 win over Wolves a bit of a surprising result?

"Henry: I don’t think any West Ham fan expected the result against Wolves, especially in the fashion that it happened. The team played brilliantly, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku were the standout players. If the club can keep that level of performance up for the rest of the season, then there should be no worry of relegation come the end of the season. That is a big if though."

PRT: Will West Ham United field a strong eleven in the cup game?

"Henry: So far in the cup on paper football fans could argue that the cup side is better on paper then the team that has been playing in the League. The side has been made up of the club’s big money transfers that have not found consistent form. Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Sebastien Haller, Manuel Lanzini are all likely to start and, in the cup, they have been producing some great football."
