Everton, Michael Keane
LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND – SEPTEMBER 30: Michael Keane of Everton during the Carabao Cup fourth round match between Everton and West Ham United at Goodison Park on September 30, 2020 in Liverpool, England. Michael Keane has played every game of the season so far.

Defence:

Right back: Seamus Coleman

He was supposed to have rest during the midweek Carabao Cup. However, injury to Jonjoe Kenny forced Coleman to cut short his mid week getaway and cover the right flank. He was assuring as always and there’s no doubt on him starting the game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Centre back: Michael Keane

Michael Keane needs to be applauded for what he has done so far this season. The Englishman has put in a brilliant shift playing 6 games in 18 days and not letting performance drop for a single game.

The biggest risk is that Keane shouldn’t be lost to an injury after putting him through such physical strain this early. Everton sadly have no other option but to play him again due to the lack of players available at CB.

light. Match Preview. Everton v Brighton

Centre back: Yerry Mina

Yerry Mina is another injury prone player and he was rested during the Carabao Cup game against West Ham United. The Colombian has displayed decent performances and is expected to start against Brighton and Hove Albion as well.

Left back: Lucas Digne

Lucas Digne is another player who has pushed his fitness to extremes over the last 20 days or so. He has been setting higher standards for himself and constantly breaking the barriers and week in week out.

I have always said it, he is one of the best signings Everton have made in the last 3 years. Lucas Digne will be tasked to keep Leonardo Toussard quiet and he won’t have much difficulty in doing that.
