Two clubs dealt with a major transfer blow as Everton star set to stay

Despite all the talk of Moise Kean being linked to Juventus and PSG, it appears as though the Italian is set to stay at Goodison.

One of the most dragged transfer talk is of Moise Kean. Juventus have made numerous attempts across the summer to sign Moise Kean back, just one year after his departure. Everton signed Kean from the Bianconeri one year ago for £27 million but his failure to settle in England and lack of game time ignited the talks of a return. Recently PSG also joined the cash as they aim to find a replacement for Edinson Cavani who left the Paris after seeing out his contract.

Juventus has obviously been the more interested club coming up with ways to convince Everton into agreeing to a deal. New Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo wants a deputy No.9 and eyes, Moise Kean, as the perfect candidate.

Moise Kean’s first season in the Premier League wasn’t easy especially due to the lack of game time. The Italian felt homesick and was eager to return to Juventus.

According to Inside Futbol, Moise Kean is only interested in returning to Juventus if he has to exit Everton. Meanwhile, Sport Witness reported that PSG have also asked about the availability of the striker.

While there’s a common idea across Finch Farm that Moise Kean signing is a long term project there are reports coming from TuttoJuve that Everton have given a green light to Kean’s farewell as the Toffees are open to let him leave on loan with Juventus having an option to buy.

However, the recent statements from Carlo Ancelotti during the press conference before the Brighton game suggest that Kean’s future lies in England with Juventus and PSG set to be handed a transfer blow.

He has a future, of course, in Everton. The club made a big investment on him last season, he’s young. This week he was not well and so he didn’t train, he will not be in the squad tomorrow but only for this reason. Every one of us is sure that he has a future here and we are working on it every day. The Italian coach has backed his compatriot on numerous occasions in front of the media and has always stated that the 20 year old is in his plans. Moise Kean arrived in England as a work in progress and is still undergoing development. Kean is taking baby steps and it’ll take some time before he can unleash his best self.

Marcel Brands spent a huge load of money on him because he saw unquestionable talent and potential in Moise Kean. The 20 year old is getting incubated under a fantastic coach in one of the best ecosystems across the world. It is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when we get to see the absolute best of Kean at Goodison.
