LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 03: Alex Iwobi of Everton is challenged by Joel Veltman of Brighton and Hove Albion during the Premier League match between Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park on October 03, 2020 in Liverpool, England. Sporting stadiums around the UK remain under strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in games being played behind closed doors. Alex Iwobi grew into the game and had a positive impact in the final third.

Substitutions:

Alex Iwobi: 7

It was a slow start from Alex Iwboi who took his time to settle into the tempo of the game. Once he was in his zone, his impact started to grow and assisted the first James Rodriguez goal and played the ball to Doucoure which was squared off to James for his second. Iwobi would be a happy man at the end of the game and hopes that he can continue to showcase his talent and skills whenever presented with a chance.

Fabian Delph: 7

The Seamus Coleman injury forced Fabian Delph to come in for the Irishman. Tom Davies moved to the right back role and Delph operated in his familiar central midfield role. He displayed some neat passing but was not on top of his game. Probably, the fitness levels still need to be looked at as at the moment it seems that getting two games in a week from Delph will not be that simple. That was the only drawback otherwise he looked very comfortable.

Theo Walcott: 6

He was brought on to give James Rodriguez some much deserved rest. Walcott didn’t have much to do in the attack and could have registered an assist in the last stages had he picked Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s run.
