Everton: Yannick Bolasie given lifeline to get first team football
By Ethan Palmer
Despite his constantly positive attitude and determination, Yannick Bolasie will not feature in Everton’s future. Luckily, two big teams seem to be coming to the rescue before deadline day.
Since Carlo Ancelotti stared at Everton, Yannick Bolasie has not been given a first team start and with the arrival of players like Allan, Rodriguez and Doucoure, he has fallen to the bottom of the pecking order.
In this week’s press conference, Carlo said:
"Bolasie is doing well, he’s training well and properly. He’s a professional. He is not part of the squad. He can train with us if he’s not able to find a club until the end of the market, and if he stays here of course we are going to train him. But I said to him that we have a big squad, and unfortunately there is no space for him."
It’s always hard to see a player that constantly has a positive attitude and seems to always do whatever it takes to prove himself, miss out on a permanent spot in this very exciting squad. Luckily, there does seem to be a couple of lifelines for the winger.
Sportswitness have reported that Turkish side Besiktas have made a move for the Everton player. The very successful team is looking at numerous other players in the market, including Atletico Madrid’s Nikola Kalinic. However, if this signing does not come to fruition, Yannick Bolasie is a strong second option for them.

Apart from Besiktas, Football Insider claims that Greek giants Olympiacos have taken an interest in the DR Congo international and are lining up an offer as we speak. However, due to the players high wage of £70,000-a-week, they may pursue the option of a loan instead and only pay a portion of this.
Yannick Bolasie has had a number of spells away from the Toffees since his £25 arrival from Crystal Palace in 2016. He’s been loaned out to Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting CP. Sadly, each of his moves have produced underwhelming results and Bolasie has never found himself with regular team spots.
Yannick Bolasie is a player that provides pace and strength for any team. After a big knee injury during his early days for Everton, he didn’t get off to the start he wanted and never got a chance to replicate the skill and talent he showed during his time with Crystal Palace. He is someone who is always willing to accept his mistakes with charm and grace, something that’s always been evident through his social media channels. Sadly though, being a nice person doesn’t get you a staring place on a Premier League team.
He would be a great addition to a squad and I hope he gets a chance to show what he can do and successfully move to a new club before the deadline is over.
