We sat down with Alex of The Mighty Blues (@MightyBluesYT) to know his views on Everton’s transfer business. At the time of writing, Everton have signed 5 players in total with Ben Godfrey being the latest arrival at Goodison.
Allan, James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Niels Nkounkou have been the other additions. James Rodriguez has instantly transformed Everton and the other signings have enormously enriched the squad quality. Here is how an Everton fan feels about the transfer window.
PRT: How do you think Everton fared in the summer transfer window? Rate the overall window and each signing.
"Alex: I would give a rating of 8 so far. This could rise to 10 if we address the issue of cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin should he get injured, we lack another number 9 and could need a change of shape so that is a must after Moise Kean’s loan to PSG We also need back up to Jordan Pickford to take the pressure off him and give him a little healthy competition. Other than that the additions have been perfect and addressed most of our issues so credit has to go to brands and the board."
