Abdoulaye Doucoure has impressed a lot.

PRT: James Rodriguez has been the marquee signing and has turned out to be spectacular on the pitch as well but which other signing has improved the team the most?

"Alex: I would say Abdoulaye Doucoure. Allan has settled in well and protects the defence in a combatant style however Doucoure gives us an engine on the middle of the park that we have lacked pretty much since Cahill left the club. He gets about the pitch well, is strong and dynamic but what has impressed me the most is his calmness and composure on the ball. He’s been a revelation for me."

PRT: Are you satisfied with Farhad Moshiri’s backing given to Carlo Ancelotti in the transfer window?

"Alex: Yes certainly. I think Farhad Moshiri’s willingness to back not only Carlo Ancelotti but Marcel Brands as well is a good sign for all the fans. We’ve wasted a lot of money in the past couple of seasons but in order to progress you have to back your man and Moshiri chose Carlo to take the club forward and he’s backing him. Let’s hope it continues."
