The transfer window closed on 5th October with mega deals happening on deadline day with Everton signing Robin Olsen and Ben Godfrey and bidding farewell to Theo Walcott and Sandro Ramirez.

The deadline day drama always goes down to the wire with clubs literally making last minute signings. Despite the summer transfer window closed, there are still possibilities for English clubs to buy and sell players.

The domestic transfer window closes on 16th October which allows player transfers between Premier League and Championship. The Top Flight clubs cannot initiate transfer business with each other but can do business with Championship clubs.

Everton have had a highly fruitful transfer window especially in terms of arrivals but in terms of departures, there is room for more. Sandro Ramirez saw his contract terminate as he moved to SD Huesca, clearing up the space in an already oversized squad and also enabling Everton to trim their wage bill.

Theo Walcott made an emotional return to Southampton, returning after 16 years. With the domestic transfer window running till 16th October, Everton may still offload players to shrink the squad size.
