Grading every Everton signing of the transfer window

Everton have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer window making colossal signings and also bidding farewell to unessential players.

Now that the transfer window drama has settled it is time to grade each and every arrival at Goodison Park. Everton fans had a roller coaster ride, from eagerly and anxiously waiting for the first signing for months to drooling over 3 arrivals in 5 days. Everton signed a total of 7 players which includes the likes of megastar James Rodriguez. The list also includes Imam Jagne who was signed for the youth side.

Everton have tried to strengthen every department and from the on-field performances so far, it is safe to say that each signing has worked out well.

Carlo Ancelotti has been successful in knitting the squad together in minimal time and the results have shown instantly what progress has been made. The midfield is revitalized, the defence has more solidity and the addition of James Rodriguez has further uplifted the class of attack.

Apart from the deadline day signings, every new arrival has featured and gotten a proper chance to showcase their abilities. Even though it’s early days, Everton supporters are optimistic that the long standing thirst of Europe and a trophy will be quenched sooner than later.
