Everton had a terrific start to the season winning 7 out of 7 games so far. It is time to review each player performances for the month of September.

The Premier League season for Everton kicked off on 13th September against Tottenham Hotspur which the Toffees managed to win 1-0. The impressive outing against Spurs set the foundation for a strong run of performances as Everton managed to win 4 out of 4 Premier League games, inheriting the top spot in the process. The Toffees made deep inroads in the Carabao Cup as well booking a quarter final date with Manchester United in December.

The month of September was highly successful with the Toffees winning 6 out of six games. Everton dispatched Spurs, Salford City, West Brom, Fleetwood Town, Crystal Palace and West Ham.

The new additions have quickly hit the sweet spot allowing players around them to extract the maximum performance. Even though these are early days but it seems that Ancelotti has found the perfect balance in the team and the squad has weathered the storm of recent injuries.

Overall, Everton carry good momentum going into the run of games after the International break and that momentum has been purely built on the strong showings in September. (The Brighton game hasn’t been included as it was played on 3rd October)
