Here is the Everton predicted lineup against Liverpool for Saturday’s Merseyside Derby.

Everton turn their attention to the most awaited game on the Premier League calendar, the Merseyside derby. After what can be described as a boring round of International football for Premier League enthusiasts, the league football returns with a bang.

Everton couldn’t have dreamt for a better start to the season, winning 7 games out of 7 and sitting on top of the Premier League. What has made this emphatic start even sweeter is that neighbours and arch rivals Liverpool have not had the kind of start they would’ve wanted. The 7-2 loss against Aston Villa made them a laughing stock.

Everton have more good news as they welcome some of their stars who had been injured. Ancelotti provided an update with Andre Gomes, Seamus Coleman, Allan, Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina are all available. Jonjoe Kenny, Mason Holgate, Jarrad Branthwaite and Jean-Philippe Gbamin remain absent.

The only concern Everton fans will have is that their players don’t return fatigued or overworked from the international break. Ancelotti will deploy the strongest possible team to take on Jurgen Klopp’s men.

The likes of James Rodriguez, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be obvious starters. Here is the Everton predicted lineup  against Liverpool:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford’s season touched the highest of highs in the very first game against Spurs but since then it has gone downhill. Robin Olsen was signed on loan from AS Roma on deadline day to provide competition to Pickford but the Swede himself has a reputation of being error prone.

This is quite simply a make or break season for the Englishman. Should his degradation continue, he may be shown the exit door next season. As for the derby, he could be a busy man between the sticks with the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino all unleashing themselves and taking a go at the goal.
