Michael Keane produced yet another excellent display.

Defence:

Seamus Coleman – 5.5

Seamus Coleman’s injury worries continued as he was forced off due to a hamstring knock around the 30 minute mark. Before that, the captain didn’t look very comfortable and found it difficult to stay upbeat with Sadio Mane. Coleman could have done better in Liverpool’s opening goal but he was caught out too easily.

Yerry Mina – 6.5

Yerry Mina was a doubt after picking up a thigh pull during international duty but the Colombian regained his fitness in time to feature in the team. His clearance that lead to Liverpool’s second goal was questionable but apart from that, the 26 year old was right on the money, often making the right decisions and trying to organize the backline.

Michael Keane – 8

Michael Keane has scored his 3rd goal of the season, a bit of a surprise for a defender. He made an impact on both ends of the pitch today, showcasing reliability and solidity in absence of Mason Holgate. The Englishman also did a commendable job keeping Roberto Firmino and Mohammed Salah silent for many parts of the game.

Lucas Digne – 8

Lucas Digne raced against time to get fit and feature in the all important Merseyside derby after potentially injuring his knee while on international duty. His impact defensively was immense, keeping Mo Salah at bay and guarding the left side of the defence well. He did dart some delicious balls for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, one of which, resulted in the second Everton goal and the equalizer.
