Here is the predicted Everton lineup against Newcastle United.

Everton play their second successive game away from Goodison, taking on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. Ancelotti’s men will be hoping to bounce back from a loss that came last week against Southampton. Newcastle fans will be gunning for a win at home especially after receiving the news that Everton will be coming with a depleted squad.

Richarlison and Lucas Digne are suspended following their red cards against Liverpool and Saints respectively. Talisman James Rodriguez and Captain Seamus Coleman have also been ruled out due to injuries. James’ absence can severely hurt Everton’s efficiency in the attack. With Richarlison also unavailable, the attacking onus lies mainly on the shoulders of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Everton will have to make several changes to the lineup and also make sure that the team is competitive enough to triumph over the Toons. Here is the predicted Everton lineup:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford’s media witch hunt has continued for two weeks now. Transfer talks haven’t rumbled on as much as the Pickford challenge has been dragged. The Englishman has been given special security after continuous death threats to him and his family. Its unimaginable what his mental psych would be right now.

The entire Toffee army is with Pickford and resilient performance against Newcastle will speak volumes of his mindset and temperament. Whatever he’s been through in the last couple of weeks, I hope he comes back even stronger.
