The final piece in a championship jigsaw is having a manager of proven world class on the sideline.

I think this is a bit obvious but the most important part of a title-winning side is the man who leads the team into battle, and there’s not many better in the world than Carlo Ancelotti. To make this a bit easier, here’s a list of Ancelotti’s accomplishments to put it into context why Carlo Magnifico is one of the best managers of all-time:

Three Champions Leagues, one Premier League Title, one FA Cup, one Copa Del Rey,
one Bundesliga title, one Serie A title and one Ligue 1 championship.

As you can see, Ancelotti is the definition of a winner, wherever he goes he seems to win something, which is very positive news for Everton fans.

Ancelotti has taken on more of a project at Everton and the club seemed to appeal to him more than his former club Napoli, who had the talent to challenge for the Serie A title. This is very positive news for Toffees fans as it’s clear Carlo loves the clubs and the fans, he wants to bring trophies to Everton and a locked-in Carlo Ancelotti means silverware.

More from Prince Rupert's Tower

Ancelotti has also shown that just his name can attract players Everton fans would’ve never dreamed of, the big example being James Rodriguez and another one being Isco, where Carlo could be using his Real Madrid connections to bring very talented players to the club.

We’ve also seen players like Kalidou Koulibaly linked with the club, with Ancelotti himself calling Koulibaly “the best centre back in the world”.

It’s clear the prospect of joining Everton has become much more enticing ever since the Italian took the job at Goodison Park and there’s a possibility more underutilised talent or even world-class players could eventually start joining the blue side of Merseyside.

This list doesn’t mean I think Everton are guaranteed to win a league title during Ancelotti’s tenure at the club, but I do think if the club continues to back him and he can get the players he wants, that Everton could become a challenger again in the Premier League, battling for a Champions League spot or the title.
