James Rodriguez will also return to the lineup.
Forwards:
Right wing: James Rodriguez
The Colombian playmaker is set to return too, after missing the trip to Newcastle due to hematoma and a hamstring niggle. Everton suffered massively in the creativity department in James’ absence but with the 29 year old returning to the lineup, fans will be hopeful that he can once again wave his magic wand.
Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
DCL cut a frustrated figure against the Toons due to the lack of service but with James returning, the striker can expect delicious balls and ample of goalscoring opportunities. The 23 year old is in red hot form and leads the golden boot race with 8 goals in 7 games. Calvert-Lewin’s goals will be very important if Everton are to secure a victory. Harry Maguire will have an arduous task of keeping DCL at bay.
Left wing: Anthony Gordon
Anthony Gordon has looked far more confident and energetic than the likes of Bernard and Alex Iwobi and deserves a chance to feature. With Richarlison suspended, Ancelotti will have to select one of the three available players: Iwobi, Bernard and Gordon.
dark. Next. Everton target Arkadiusz Milik will be sold in January, but there’s a catch
Iwobi and Bernard have been underwhelming whereas the 19 year old has showcased his abilities at every juncture.
