PSG Sporting Director is convinced of Moise Kean and intends to meet Marcel Brands at the end of the season to discuss a possible transfer.

Back in 2019, when Everton signed Moise Kean from Juventus for €30 million, it was seen as a huge investment for the future. The budding striker had started to catch the attention of many across Europe with his impressive performances and the fact that he wanted to test himself in England further showed his drive and hunger.

A season later, Kean unfortunately found himself warming the bench, restricted to a few bench appearances and even fewer starts. His performances which once oozed confidence now lacked it. One of the reasons for his underwhelming performances could be the change of country, league, culture and the playing style.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti reiterated numerous times that he and the club have full confidence in the young attacker and the recent drop in form is part of the learning process. The Italian manager also urged his compatriot to patiently wait for his chances. However, Kean was frustrated with the lack of playing time and his agent Mino Raiola was trying to engineer a move away from Goodison.

Juventus were keen to bring the Italian back to Turin but in the end PSG were successful in bringing the 20 year old to the French capital on a one year loan spell. The change of country and style has instantly shown its effect as Kean has gone onto score 5 goals in 7 games for PSG.

Recently, PSG Sporting director Leonardo revealed that the French giants have no clause to make the loan signing permanent but that hasn’t deterred Leonardo’s hopes to sign Kean permanently. According to Le10 Sport, Leonardo is convinced that Kean adds exciting youth exuberance to the squad and is planning to sign the Italian permanently once his loan spell is over at Parc des Princes.

Ancelotti has pressed that Kean has a future at Merseyside which is understandable considering that the Toffees paid €30 million for a teenage sensation. However, Leonardo and PSG have other plans.

The PSG Sporting director plans to meet Everton counterpart Marcel Brands at the end of the season to convince him of a transfer and give him an overview of the possibilities of the transfer.

Whether Brands entertains Leonardo’s wish or not remains to be seen. If the Toffees consider selling Kean, they’ll be hoping to get handsome returns on the striker, despite the player’s turbulent times at Goodison.
