Here are 3 reasons why Everton should surely sign Isco from Real Madrid.

Everton have been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Isco with a January move highly mooted for the Spaniard. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane doesn’t count on the 28 year old and has given green light for Isco’s sale.

The Toffees must not miss the opportunity and sign Isco in the winter transfer window. Everton already got their hands on Hollywood signing James Rodriguez in the summer transfer window. Isco will surely be another coup for Ancelotti and Marcel Brands. Here is why Everton must not miss out on Isco:

Statement of Intent

When Carlo Ancelotti arrived at Everton, it was clear that the club was taking a huge leap by bringing a proven, three times Champions League winning coach to Goodison. The previous managerial appointments didn’t look as appealing as Ancelotti.

Frahad Moshiri and Marcel Brands issued a statement of intent by bringing a high profile manager and giving evidence that the dream to bring Everton back at the top is still alive. Then came the summer transfer window. The presence of Ancelotti helped Everton to lure the brilliant players like James and Allan.

When the Colombian was signed he was dubbed as the steal of the century for the Royal blues. His signing was again seen as a statement of intent capable of being the guiding light. So far we have evidence on what impact can James have on the team.

Signing a player of Isco’s calibre will further solidify Everton’s intent. The club have a project in place that intends to deliver European football. Everton are arming themselves with a high quality side, even though, it is still early days, it looks as if the team is reaching somewhere.
