Everton have received highly encouraging news in the chase of Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

Even though Carlo Ancelotti denies in front of the press, there’s no way the thought of Isco being available wouldn’t have crossed his mind. The Italian had a similar approach to James Rodriguez in the early stages of the summer transfer window when the links to the Colombian were treated as rumours.

We all know how that shaped up and it seems that the Isco links are following a similar trajectory. The Spaniard wants to leave Santiago Bernabeu after falling down the pecking order and the idea of a reunion with Rodriguez and Ancelotti looks enticing to the former Malaga man.

Everton now have highly encouraging news regarding the Isco transfer chase. According to Le10 Sport, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane won’t stand in the way of the club board in the sale of Isco. The Frenchman has given green light to the departure of the 28 year old in the January transfer window.

There were already indications of Isco being surplus to requirements but the recent reports have definitely established the fact. Los Blancos are also planning a smooth transition and think that Isco is not a key cog as the club enters the next phase of the revolution, changing the guard from experienced veteran Galacticos to the stars of tomorrow.

Everton are in an evolutional phase of their own as Ancelotti’s Goodison revolution continues. Improving the squad quality has been the biggest tasks for Ancelotti in his first full season as the Toffees’ boss. James Rodriguez, Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ben Godfrey seem to be a step in the right direction.

The work’s not done yet with enhancements still needed in the midfield. Signing Isco will nearly complete the surgery in midfield. The Spaniard is a quality midfielder, capable of orchestrating the attack and getting heavily involved in the buildup play.

The report also mentions Juventus as a possible destination for the midfielder. Los Merengues are ready to patiently wait for an approach so now it is up to Everton how quickly they make an attempt. Isco, a player is in his prime, even though plagued by poor form at this point will have admirers from the big European teams.
