Everton target Isco has refused a move to Juventus from Real Madrid.

The separation between Isco and Real Madrid looks more and more evident with each passing day. The Spaniard is on the lookout for a new club and was reportedly keen on reuniting with James Rodriguez and Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.

Since then the Isco saga has begun with a host of clubs wanting the magical playmaker. Everton, Juventus, Arsenal and Sevilla have been credited with an interest for the 28 year old. In fact, some reports also suggested that Isco’s former boss, Ancelotti, has internally campaigned at Everton to bring the midfielder to Goodison Park.

Zinedine Zidane doesn’t include Isco in his plans and would not stand in the way of a transfer. Real Madrid are willing to part ways with the Spaniard, expecting a bid from his suitors in the region of €20 million.

It appears more and more that Premier League is going to be Isco’s preferred destination, making the Toffees as one of the favourites to sign the 28 year old. Sevilla and Julen Lopetegui admire Isco but their financial limitations mean that the player is out of their reach.

According to Calciomercato, Isco has also refused to go to Juventus and play in the Serie A. Arguably, Juve were one of the biggest hurdles for Everton in the path to sign Isco. The player remains keen on leaving La Liga for the English Top Flight giving Ancelotti’s side a huge boost.

The role of a secondary playmaker remains a spot of bother for the Italian manager which could be solved by signing Isco. Andre Gomes and Gylfi Sigurdsson haven’t exactly lit up the team from the middle of the park or shared the playmaking duties with James Rodriguez. Isco’s style and calibre will instantly raise the bar and help Everton in an area they have struggled a lot this season.

As we get closer and closer to the January transfer window, things have started to take shape in the Isco transfer race.
